Tzadkiel Forneste Panlilio

Music Student

Rizal Province, Philippines

Tzadkiel started learning the Clarinéo in late 2020 when he was just five years old. He is currently six years old and progressing quickly. He also has developed a wonderful tone and command of the instrument’s range. Traditional clarinets would have been too heavy for Tzadkiel but the lightness of the Clarinéo allowed him to start learning at such a young age. When asked how he likes the Clarinéo, Tzadkiel replied, “I love the Nuvo Clarinéo very much!”

Ananda

Music Student

New Jersey, USA

Ever since she was three years old, Ananda had begged to play the flute. Traditional metal flutes are too heavy and large for such young beginners so she was going to have to wait a few years to start her flute learning. Ananda began piano lessons in the meantime and progressed quickly but still had a desire to play the flute like her mom.

At five years old, Ananda discovered the NUVO Toot! She advanced quickly with the Firstnote (recorder-style) lip plate which allowed her to focus on learning new melodies. After only two weeks, she progressed to the NUVO jFlute so she could play more high notes. The transition was easy and she has been learning new music quickly ever since. Ananda practices her jFlute everyday and at five years old is an inspiration to us all!

Kenneth Chia

Flute Instructor, Performer and Technician

Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia

Kenneth Chia is the founder of Tuning Fork Music in Kota Kinabalu, whose mission is to provide quality Classical woodwind instruction to the East Malaysia area and beyond. I distribute and use NUVO instruments because I believe that they are the key to the foundation of introducing woodwind instrument playing in places where it is relatively new and unknown. They are lightweight, affordable, long lasting, easily washable, and perfect for the tropical climate here on the island of Borneo.  Parents love the attractive cost and free learning material that comes with the instruments, and also opt to take Windstars-style classes to further encourage their children. Children love the pretty colors and the joy of playing instruments of a type that is unique to our area. I wholeheartedly recommend NUVO instruments to anyone interested in encouraging excellent pre-band woodwind music education and performance from the ground up!”

Its durability, lightweight construction and compact size make it ideal for the younger player – but its not compact on sound. I also liked the idea of being able to play from the same music that flutes and other C instruments play from. I was then introduced to the flutes and I was interested to see how NUVO had made the process of learning these instruments much easier for children, and adults too! They can make a positive impact on music education in our country”
